ARMA 2 is a military simulation game for the PC developed by Bohemia Interactive Studio. ARMA 2 features five different armed factions, all with their own vehicles and weapons. ARMA 2 has got good feedback in terms of its realism, graphics, and the sheer scale of the game. On the other hand, as with the original Armed Assault game, ARMA 2 has been criticized for the unfinished and buggy state of release and the poor quality of the AI.

It was released for the Windows operating system and Xbox 360 video game console on August 21, 2007 in North America. A PlayStation 3 version of the game was released internationally on October 17, 2008 and in North America on October 21, 2008. It included some additional features. A sequel, BioShock 2, will be released in 2009.
