Blogging Statistics for November

November was another good month for technodorm in which good growth was seen in traffic. I had planned to post more actively in the month of november but I could not manage more then 2 posts. The reason behind my lack of posting was that one of my anime sites really just rocketed up in terms of traffic and I had to manage stuff there. Anyways, I have already written two posts in this month of december, and will try to post more often but I will be away from the comp for next week due to EID. Now lets get to the stats for last month.

Traffic Stats:

As you can see from the graph of visits, there were a couple of days when traffic just died off. This was due to problems with my hosting and the site was down from 9th November to 13th November and also on 17th November. So these stats only reflect on 25 of the 30 days of the month of november.

Earnings:

Google Adsense: $140
Infolinks: Around $15 (only for 9 days)
Kontera: Around $10 (only for 10 days)

Google Adsense capitalized on the increase in search engine traffic. I had used kontera from the 1st of november to 10th november and it did not bring in much $$$. I then, was going to place infolinks back on but totally forgot until the 21st of the month. Infolinks brings in marginally better $$$ then kontera. Although I have not optimized the link colour for infolinks, I intend to try out different combinations of colours to see which brings in the most clicks.

So thats my stats for last month. I plan to post at least 10-15 posts this month and to move to my new theme which is almost 70% done. Am just making the logo and touching up on the coding now. I will also be releasing a free wordpress theme by the end of this month as I will have holidays from school and will have enough free time. Do watch out for it!

Hi guys. My exams finally finished last week and now am free. And I intend to keep a good posting frequency so 2 to 3 posts daily is my target. Lets see how it goes.

And to my surprise I haven’t lost much subscribers during this long break.

Leaving blogging for 2 and a half months……..

Hi guys. Ever since I got the site back up on 5th march, I haven’t been able to post anything. The reason being my upcoming exams, for which, I haven’t been able to study at all. My exams start in mid may. I will flunk them if I don’t start studying 24/7 from right now.

This blog and other online activities just take up too much of my time and they keep me from really concentrating on my studies. That is why I have decided to leave the blog in its current state for the next 2 and a half months. I might peep in once every week or so to check mail, comments, etc, but nothing else. If anyone wants to guest post or become a permanent blogger for Technodorm then contact me through the contact page.

So lets see what happens to the stats of my blog during my absence. See you all in mid-june!

Recovering the blog

Hey guys. As you all probably know, the site went down on 12th Feburuay and I have only gotten it back right now. Hosting issues again….My hosts server crashed and I lost everything but I had a backup as of 16th January so I am restoring them right now. Hopefully the process works without errors. I am working right now to bring everything back so you may see some errors here and there so please report to me if you find any. Dont report the broken images though as I will fix them tomorrow. I need to find the images on my HDD first.

Update: I have restored all the posts. The comments are included within the posts now and I can’t change that since it will take too much time. I will restore the rest of the blog(theme, plugins, ads ) tomorrow, as I am too tired right now. I have spent the last 4 hours getting everything up as it is right now. Maybe if I get some free time tonight I will do the rest of the stuff tonight as well.

Hey guys. I have finally moved the site to its own domain. And from now on this site shall be known as Technodorm, not Technobyte. The new address for the site is now www.technodorm.com.

I had been moving the site for the past couple of days so thats why I didn’t update with any new posts. That and I have my exams going on which will end in two days time. After that I am going to enjoy the winter holidays!

I will also be updating with some nice posts so do check them out. Until then, see ya!

Technobyte moving to a domain soon and also a name change!

I just wanted to inform you guys that technobyte will be moving to its own domain very soon. Most likely in a day or two when the nameservers get sorted out.

The new domain will be http://www.technodorm.com. And as you can tell by the link, the name of this blog will also be changing. The new name will be Technodorm. I had been searching for a good domain name for the past 3 weeks and finally I got this domain available. So I am very happy with it.

Traffic
Subscribers
Authority
and $$$$

I am starting this competition with this logic in mind that, we both will work hard to get an upper hand on each other, besides that we both can help and improve each other blogging skills…..

Site Problems…..

Hey guys. I just wanted to inform you that the host of this site is having some problems with their server. So that is the reason you might be unable to access the site or you get a 500 Internal server error. The host is trying to fix this problem as I write and hopefully it will be sorted out quickly. Until then, you can read the posts through the RSS feed. Just click here to go to the RSS feed on feedburner.

EDIT: The servers are running fine again. The problem has been fixed. Everything should be running smoothly again!

Moved site to another host

Well, I had gotten tired of the frequent downtimes of my site from freehostia so I had been looking for the past couple of weeks for a new and reliable host. I found kwix host to be the best in its list of features and its excellent user testimonials. They also keep their server very efficient so you guys should expect to see a good increase in speed as well. I had been busy this past week with moving the site over and making sure that it worked perfectly before redirecting everyone from my previous site address.

So I couldn’t post any new articles in this time space that I was moving the blog but now that the site has completely moved, I will get back to blogging. I have built up some good ideas for some posts and I will be blogging about them in the coming days, so watch out. Also, if you haven’t subscribed yet, do so right now. I can assure you that there will be some nice and interesting articles posted in the coming weeks. For now, have a nice day!
