Only recently was Google Chrome 2 released as a stable version and work on Google Chrome 3 has already begun. As is the case, you can download the new google chrome 3 browser through the dev channel. This is a very early release so if you plan to try it out then be prepared to face errors and crashes along the way. Google Chrome 3, at present, does not have a lot of new features but as it will be closer to its release we will be able to identify the full new features included in the release.The notable features so far are:
- Themes are enabled by default in Google Chrome 3.0 for Windows, Linux and Mac
- Support for video tags
- Increased cookie limit up to 3000, matching Firefox 3.5
- Fixes for issues with various Google Chrome UI elements and numerous other bugs
