Orkut SMS Service

August 7th, 2008

The world of Orkut has been very busy in recent months. Many new features and addons have been added periodically. I recently made some orkut themes which can liven up the boring plain orkut design. You should give it a try. For now, I will be talking about a new feature that has just been released by orkut which will give orkut users the ability to receive and send scraps through SMS. Recover WordPress Password

August 4th, 2008

These last couple of days I was working extensively with the local wordpress installation on my computer. I had been tweaking the theme and several other things. Between all this tweaking, I had to install different versions of wordpress. I had been running wordpress 2.6 by default and had to downgrade to 2.3 to check something out. I went upon doing this downgrade as you would normally upgrade an installation of wordpress. I first deleted all wordpress files and copied over files from wordpress 2.3. I then ran the website and upgraded database, and tried to log in to my admin account. To my surprise, my password didn’t work no matter how many times and how many variations I tried. I was locked out of my own account on my own computer! » Read more: Recover WordPress Password

Visual Pagerank doesn’t work anymore though but fortunately for us, there is an even better method to check pagerank of internal pages using a firefox extension called Seoquake. You may have heard of it before as it is one of the most common SEO plugin available for firefox. With this little tool, we can easily see pagerank of internal pages for a site in a matter of seconds! » Read more: Check Pagerank of Internal Pages
