The world of Orkut has been very busy in recent months. Many new features and addons have been added periodically. I recently made some orkut themes which can liven up the boring plain orkut design. You should give it a try. For now, I will be talking about a new feature that has just been released by orkut which will give orkut users the ability to receive and send scraps through SMS. This was only possible before if you had a data enabled mobile device but now users of orkut can avail this facility by using any ordinary mobile phone with the supported carriers.

You can link your phone with orkut by going into the mobile settings page. This service is currently only available for users in Brazil and India. Furthermore, only Aircel, BPL, MTNL, Reliance, Spice and Tata support this feature so far. The rest will surely implement it soon. You should check with your carrier for the charges for this service.
